NW of Ireland Intermediate Cup
Big win for Strabane Athletic defeating Letterkenny Rovers 6-0 in the Northwest cross border intermediate cup.
Strabane went one up on 6minutes before crucially going two up with the last action of the opening half. Goals from Aidan Bishop and Odhran Maguire.
Goals on 56 from Maguire and 58 from player/ boss Rory Patterson made it 4-0 before a Patterson penalty and a late Sean Ferry effort made it it 6-0 Strabane.
Youngster Luke Parke made his debut late in the game as a substitute.
Luke will be a mainstay of our u17s youth side who will now make the trip to play Newmarket Celtic in Co Clare on the rescheduled date of 12th February which is his birthday!
