2025 Season

22nd February 2026

The SFAI Cup run for our under 16s came to an end in Limerick 22nd February losing out 2-0. Letterkenny Rovers gave a great account of themselves, causing problems for Pike from the start with a number of near miss opportunities. Pike we solid in defense and very dangerous on the counter and caused us a lot of issues from the corner spot. We were 1-nil down at half time but still had it all to play for. Pike got the second about 10 mins into the second half, Letterkenny were reduced to 10 and it became an uphill battle. Pike hit the crossbar on one occasion and were awarded a penalty. Rueben Carey pulled off an excellent save that kept us going but it wasn't to be.

Gweedore Celtic 0 - 1 Letterkenny Rovers Champions League group game

I was an end to end battle on the night, with Rovers have the advantage of the wind at their backs for the first half. Impact sub Colm Og Breatnach literally only on the field 20 minutes in and weaves some magic inside the box to break the deadlock and secure what was to be the only goal in the game. The second half Rovers against the wind played some great football and were unlucky on a number of chances to further the lead. Final whistle 0-1 Letterkenny Rovers.
