All coaches at the club are Garda Vetted and have completed Child Welfare and Safeguarding requirements.

Coaches also complete training that is appropriate to the group they are coaching in line with the FAI Players Development Plans. You can find further details on the specific player development plans below.

In addition to this, coaches attend workshops run by the FAI that focus on practice and delivery for coaches such as Football Fitness, 7v7 and 9v9 workshops.

We've also run specialised training as part of Football for All for new volunteers and existing coaches such as Disability Awareness and Autism in Sport. We have a number of coaches in the Club that have completed their UEFA C Diplomas. Several coaches have also completed National C Licenses in Goalkeeping and the club has dedicated sessions for our players with our Goalkeeping Coaches to help them with this very specific role.
