Letterkenny Rovers and Drumkeen shared the spoils in a tepid encounter at Leckview Park on Wednesday evening.

This game started off with chances at either end with Drumkeen going close on 2 minutes through Josh Gildea and Rovers coming closest through Oisin Duffy. Those early chances were the best of an opening period lacking in any clear cut opportunities despite the endeavour and industry of both sides.
The half looked destined to end level before the opening goal arrived on 41 minutes when a swift free flowing move down the right hand side saw some wizardry from Aaron Temple before his cross was tapped home from close range by the in form Faolan Gibson.
Drumkeen started the second half the brighter and came close through Ryan Gildea on 54 before they drew level on 58 minutes when Conor Crossan headed home unmarked from Stuart McCrabbes corner.
The game came alive in fits and starts after that but it was Rovers who seemed to have secured all three  points on 79 minutes when Luke Parke did well to carve an opening before the ball fell to Gibson who blasted home past Drumkeen goalkeeper Cormac Mulrain.
The visitors though were back on level terms just minutes later when Kildea was put through by Sam McKnight and he coolly finished low past Bryan Alves de Costa.
The home side had the best opportunities late to win it with Mulrain being alert to deny Sam Harvey and Duffy as both sides had to settle for a share of the spoils.
