Getting Here & Getting Around

Most visitors travelling to Letterkenny arrive by road or by Bus Éireann coach.

Bus Éireann Expressway Route 32 operates between Dublin Busáras and Letterkenny, via Dublin Airport and Monaghan. There are nine services daily in each direction, with a journey time of approximately 3 hours 50 minutes.

Fans travelling from Galway or Sligo can use Expressway Route 64, which also terminates at Letterkenny Bus Station.

There is currently no train service to Letterkenny, so road travel is the main option for visitors coming from outside Donegal.

Once in town, on-street parking bays operate 9am–6pm Monday to Saturday (30 minutes free, then paid via the Donegal eParking app), while several public car parks and shopping centre car parks offer more capacity close to the town centre.

Leckview Park itself sits on Leckview Lane . F92 CR20 beside the retail park area and approximately a five-minute walk from the town centre.

If you're arriving early or have some time before kick-off, there are plenty of options close to the ground.

Century Complex A great option for families, with a cinema, Backstage Bar & Grill, indoor soft play and crazy golf. Located immediately beside the Leckview Park and retail park area, it's ideal if you're travelling with children or looking for something to do before the match.
Letterkenny Retail Park A convenient shopping and food stop with Dunnes Stores, M&S, TK Maxx, Boots, Evolve, Next, McDonald’s and more. There is also free parking, making it an easy option before or after the match.
Kernans Bistro & Coffee House Located within Letterkenny Retail Park, Kernans offers a casual setting for breakfast, coffee, lunch and a bite to eat. With free off-street parking, it is a popular choice for visitors looking for somewhere convenient close to the ground.
Station House Hotel A comfortable 3-star hotel with the Depot Café Bar, including live music on selected nights. Conveniently located close to the retail park and town centre, it is a handy base for travelling supporters and teams with Leckview Park within walking distance.
Radisson Blu Hotel A 4-star hotel in a central location, offering comfortable accommodation and breakfast facilities. Its location makes it a convenient base for travelling supporters, with Leckview Park within walking distance.
The Brewery Bar & Restaurant Located on Main Street/Market Square, The Brewery is a popular option for food, drinks, live music and watching sport on screen. It is an ideal choice if you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a pre-match drink or post-match meal and only a ten minute walk from Leckview Park

  • Budget accommodation — Letterkenny also has hostels, guesthouses and apartments, with budget options sometimes available from approximately €75–€100 per night.

Visitors are advised to check current prices and availability directly with accommodation providers, particularly around match weekends.

  • Letterkenny Town Centre - Take a stroll through the town, browse the shops and enjoy the cafés, bars and restaurants.

  • St. Eunan's Cathedral — One of Letterkenny's most recognisable landmarks, the cathedral was constructed between 1890 and 1900.

  • Donegal County Museum — A great option on a wet day, with exhibitions exploring the history and heritage of County Donegal.
