Letterkenny Rovers 4 - 1 Lagan Harps

Letterkenny started well when Aisling Mc Ginley intercepted a throw in and burst clear to score. Rovers increased the lead on twenty minutes with a good finish from Caitlin Mc Brearty. Lagan then went close with Teaghan Doherty forcing a good save from Lily Gallagher. Lagan’s Amy Lateef then saw a great effort come off the bar.
Rovers were very solid defensively absorbing the Lagan pressure. Two quick goals from Savanna Keys, when she raced clear and finished. Lagan kept pushing for a goal and Emily Mc Mahon forced another good save from Lily Gallagher. Lagan scored minutes later when Teaghan Doherty found Emily Mc Mahon and she set up Amy Lateef.
Two teams gave everything in really tough conditions, both management teams can see the improvements from our first outings and the learnings from other games.
