Volunteering Opportunities
At Letterkenny Rovers we are always looking for people interested in volunteering.
With an ever growing number of teams and programmes being run through the club it is a great time to get involved.
Like many of us, it can seem daunting at first but if it is something that is in the back of your mind why not give it a try.
It can be hugely rewarding to help players of all ages to develop.
You can also progress your coach education through courses run by the FAI and with hands on experience at the club.
Whats involved?
You will initially have to complete Garda Vetting and the Safeguarding 1 course, which we will help you through.
The commitment varies depending on the age group you are working with.
For example: Our Junior Rovers, Football for All, UEFA Disney playmakers are all 1 hour a week. The underage teams can vary from 1 hour to 6 hours a week, depending on the age groups.
As you get settled in you will complete Coach Education relevant to the age group you are working with.
There is plenty of experienced coaches at the club that can help you too.
