U16 Rovers

Milford United 1 - 2 Letterkenny Rovers

Letterkenny Rovers kicked off their league campaign with a strong 2-1 away win over Milford United. Rovers dominated the first half, taking the lead in the 22nd minute when Javi Lopez set up Carvalho for a well-placed header. Despite another Carvalho goal being ruled out for offside, Rovers remained in control going into halftime.

Milford improved after the break and equalised via a penalty from Ryan Doherty in the 72nd minute. However, Rovers responded quickly, with Marcin Pirch assisting Lopez for a composed finish in the 80th minute. Strong defending helped Rovers secure the win.

• Ronan Ward (Consistently solid)

A great start to the season for the Rovers.

U16 Crusaders

Letterkenny Crusaders 6 - 0 Mulroy Celtic

Letterkenny Crusaders began their U16 First Division campaign with an impressive 6-0 win over Mulroy Celtic at the Aura Centre. From start to finish, the Crusaders controlled the game, showing composure in possession and clinical finishing.

Goals came from Matthew Junior (2), Blue Jay, Luke Elliot, Abdallah, and KaiomArinho, who delivered a standout performance.

Kaio Marinho was named Player of the Match.

It was a confident display, setting a strong tone for the season ahead. The Crusaders will be looking to maintain this level as the league progresses.

U12 Rovers

Illistrin 1 - 3 Letterkenny Rovers

Letterkenny Rovers kicked off their Premier Division campaign with a dominant 3-1 win away to Illistrin.

The tone was set just 30 seconds in when Mason Oliver fired a stunning strike into the top corner, giving Rovers an immediate lead. Rovers didn’t let up, and just six minutes later, Shane O’Donnell doubled their advantage with another brilliant finish after Charlie Lynch hit the bar.

Illistrin responded quickly, pulling one back to make it 2-1, but Rovers responded by continuing to pile on the pressure. Their relentless attacking play paid off when Femi Gallagher slotted home in the 15th minute with a good ball from Charlie Lynch.

From there, Rovers managed the game expertly, creating multiple chances, unlucky not to finish some and defending solidly throughout, giving Illistrin no further opportunities to threaten. A fantastic all-round performance, with every squad player contributing and showing top form.

U12 Crusaders

Lagan Colts 2 - 2 Letterkenny Crusaders

What. A. Game. From the first whistle, both teams battled hard, leaving everything on the pitch!

Lagan took an early lead, but Crusaders struck back with a PERFECT finish from Josh Muller, thanks to an epic assist from Caleb Bomah!

Lagan went ahead again, but Crusaders refused to back down! Tiarnan Connolly smashed in a brilliant equalizer just before halftime to make it 2-2!

The second half saw both sides pushing for a winner! With chances at both ends it ended with the points shared in a well-fought draw!

U12 United

Lagan fc 1 - 1 Letterkenny United

Letterkenny United got their U12 league game off to a good start with a 1-1 draw away from home at Lagan FC. The home side took the lead halfway through the 1st half and despite Evan Price going close, United trailed at the halfway stage. United improved in the 2nd half when Evan Price had another effort cleared of the line before Victor Ogunade assisted Rhys Lynch who slotted home from distance. Player of the match was Rhys Lynch…

U12 Athletic

Letterkenny Athletic 5 - 1 Dunfanaghy Sharks

A fine start to their League campaign for Athletic with a convincing win over League Cup winners, Dunfanaghy Sharks at Aura. Athletic dominated the early exchanges and goals from Lopsy Adeyemi and Kacper Niewiadomski had them 2 nil up at half time. Athletic continued to press and Shay McLaughlin got the third from the spot after he was taken down in the box. Dunfanaghy got a lifeline when they got a penalty of their own which they converted but further goals from Shay and Kacper rounded off a good day for Athletic.

Player of the match was Kacper Niewiadomski.

U14 Crusaders

In a dominant display, U14 Crusaders took a commanding victory against Gweedore Celtic Cosmos with a final score of 6-1 in their league opener. The Crusaders set the tone early, finding the net just 2 minutes into the match. With a strong overall performance, the team maintained control throughout and showcased their attacking prowess.

Jake Bonner shone with an impressive contribution to the scoreline, netting four goals with an outstanding performance. Additionally, teammates Amani and Joshua also found the back of the net, contributing to the team's success.

A strong start for the Crusaders in their league campaign.

Letterkenny United started their u14 Division 2 League campaign with a win against Glenea Aontaithe.
