Dunfanaghy 1–2 Letterkenny Crusaders
Letterkenny Crusaders picked up a valuable three points with a 2–1 win away to Dunfanaghy in the U14 First Division.
The visitors made the ideal start when Ade Alimi struck early to put Crusaders ahead, finishing smartly after a bright opening spell. Dunfanaghy responded quickly, however, and drew level on 12 minutes with a well-taken equaliser.
The sides went in level at the break, but Crusaders regained control early in the second half. Just minutes after the restart, Ruairi Gardiner found the net with a decisive finish to restore the lead.
From there, Crusaders defended with discipline and organisation, limiting Dunfanaghy’s chances while continuing to threaten on the counter. The final whistle confirmed a hard-fought 2–1 victory, with goals from Alimi and Gardiner proving enough to seal the win.
