Blitzes

U10 Girls enjoying a morning of blitzes at Illistrin

What a fantastic morning in Illistrin for the U10 girls!

Sunshine, smiles, and plenty of goals marked a special day as the girls took part in their very first blitz of the season — and the first ever for the 2017/18 group.

With great numbers, the club proudly fielded two strong teams, the Rovers and the Crusaders, and both delivered brilliant performances from start to finish.

Across three games each and 60 minutes of energetic football, the girls showed great determination and clear improvement throughout. They faced Bonagee and Illistrin in a series of enjoyable and competitive matches.

As the blitz progressed, the development was clear to see — sharper passing, stronger communication, improved positioning, and lots of brave play across the pitch.

There are plenty of positives to build on in training, including moving the ball quicker, finding space, and making good decisions under pressure.

A big thank you to Tommy for hosting and to all the coaches for supporting the girls through a brilliant morning of football.
