Mulroy Academy 4–0 Letterkenny Athletic
Letterkenny Athletic faced league leaders Mulroy Academy in a challenging league encounter.
The visitors started brightly and enjoyed a strong opening 15 minutes. Anoula Dada came close following an excellent through ball from Harry McLaughlin, while Ryan McLaughlin was also involved in the early attacking play.
Mulroy Academy scored three goals before half-time to take control of the match. Letterkenny Athletic responded positively after the interval, showing good commitment and determination throughout the second half. Matthew McDevitt, Shane Toner and Coalan Gallagher were among those who put in committed performances.
Mulroy added a fourth goal to secure a 4–0 win and confirm the league title.
Congratulations to Mulroy Academy on their championship success. Letterkenny Athletic can take encouragement from their effort, resilience and teamwork across the game.
U12 Crusaders
U12 Premier
Letterkenny Crusaders 3–1 Lagan Harps
A strong performance from our 2015s at Aura this morning saw Crusaders take all three points against Lagan Harps.
After a tentative start from both sides, Crusaders settled quickest and began to establish their trademark passing game. Shay McLaughlin broke the deadlock midway through the first half with a fine finish. Great work from Zac Doherty allowed Cody McGarrigle to put Shay through on goal.
Cillian McCauley was a constant threat as Crusaders pushed for a second, while Cody and Shay both went close before half-time.
Crusaders continued to press in the second half, with Jake Devlin and Blake Watson impressing in midfield. A positive move involving Blake created the second goal ten minutes into the half, with Shay finishing from close range.
Lagan Harps pulled a goal back from a free kick late on, but Crusaders responded immediately. Shay completed his hat-trick seconds later with a smart turn and finish to seal a 3–1 win.
Another excellent team performance from the boys, with Jake Devlin named Player of the Match.

U12 Division 1
Letterkenny United returned to winning ways this evening with a home victory over Lurgy Celtic at the Aura.
A hat-trick from David Olaniyan, along with goals from Evan Price, Caleb Bomah and Rhys Lynch, secured the result. It was an excellent all-round team performance, with plenty of exciting football on display throughout.
Player of the Match was Ryan Kelly for his excellent defensive work and his support in attack.

U12 Premier
Illistrin 2–0 Crusaders
Our 2015s faced a strong Illistrin side at Corry Park on Tuesday evening.
Both teams were evenly matched early on, before Illistrin grew into the first half and played some excellent football. Crusaders remained well organised defensively, with Brandon Ndlovu and Cillian McCauley particularly impressive as they helped keep Illistrin at bay.
The second half was an even affair, with both teams creating chances. The best opportunity for Crusaders fell to Lopsy Adeyemi, who raced clear before an Illistrin defender made an important last-ditch tackle.
Illistrin opened the scoring midway through the half following a well-worked free-kick routine. Crusaders continued to push for an equaliser in an exciting finish, with Vlad Peresiechnyl’s effort well saved late on. Illistrin added a second goal on the break with virtually the final kick of the game.
A fine team performance from the boys once again against older opposition. Player of the Match honours went to Cillian McCauley for a faultless display in defence.
U12 Wanderers
U12 Division 3
Letterkenny Wanderers 1–0 Keadue Rovers
Letterkenny Wanderers returned to winning ways with a hard-fought victory over a solid Keadue Rovers side on Sunday at the Aura back pitch.
After a competitive opening, Wanderers settled into the game and began to move the ball confidently, creating opportunities of their own.
A fast start to the second half proved pivotal, with Oscar Brzdak finishing a well-worked move to give Wanderers the lead. The team then defended confidently for the remainder of the match to secure the win.

U14 Rovers
U14 Premier League ⚽️
Gweedore United 0–2 Letterkenny Rovers
Another excellent result for the lads as Rovers continued their fine run of form, earning another clean sheet and three valuable points against Gweedore United. 👏
Gweedore started brightly, while Rovers created chances in the first half, with Jake Bonnar hitting the post and Ethan Kearns striking the crossbar. Half-time: 0–0.
Rovers broke the deadlock two minutes into the second half following excellent work down the right from Zekrija Bytyqi and Ade Alimi. Ade’s cross found Ethan Kearns, who finished superbly. ⚽️
Ethan doubled his tally in the 60th minute with a fine strike to make it 2–0. ⚽️
The Rovers defence was excellent once again, securing another clean sheet, while the entire team delivered a strong performance to earn a hard-fought victory.

DWL Blitz
Huge thank you to all the girls who came out this evening and braved the elements for our latest DWL blitz. The rain was wild, but the football was even better.
Letterkenny Rovers, Letterkenny Crusaders and Castlefinn Celtic were all in action, with the girls producing three brilliant games full of teamwork, passing, movement and confident finishing.
The effort was outstanding from start to finish. Despite the challenging conditions, the girls stayed positive, worked hard for one another and showed real bravery on the ball.
A special shout-out to the players who scored their first-ever goals tonight — moments like that are what make coaching so rewarding. The smiles said everything.
Thank you to Castlefinn Celtic for travelling over and taking part in three enjoyable games. Nights like this provide valuable opportunities for the girls to develop, learn and enjoy their football.

U14 Crusaders
Ballyraine FC 1–6 Letterkenny Crusaders
The Crusaders secured their first full set of league points since June with a positive away performance against Ballyraine FC.
The first half was closely contested, with both teams creating opportunities. Ballyraine opened the scoring, but the Crusaders remained composed and continued to work hard. Anthony McGarrigle brought the sides level shortly before half-time with an important finish.
The Crusaders returned for the second half with greater intensity and purpose. Strong pressing, composed passing and effective teamwork helped the team build control of the match.
Filip Blaszczok scored twice and provided two assists, while Jessie George-Gbagi completed a superb hat-trick. It was a committed all-round display, with the team showing discipline in defence, quality through midfield and clinical finishing in attack.
Well done to all the players and coaches. The Crusaders will look to carry this positive momentum into next week’s fixture.
