New Astro Pitch Officially Opened

Sunday April 3rd, 2022

Today the first session took place on the New Astro. The Junior Rovers kids got the first outing on it and hopefully this will be the first of many for these kids of the future.

March 2022

Getting close now to the final stages, with the sand being spread on to the surface. Hopefully all will be up and running in April.

February 2022

After leaving the grounds to settle over the winter period the surface is now being put down.

September 2021

The latest drone photos of our new astroturf pitch development at Leckview Park.

This state of the art facility will provide for our young players for many years to come and all proceeds from our annual draw will go towards completing the work.

Tickets cost just €10 or 3 for €20. By entering our draw, you will be investing in the club’s future as well as being in with a chance of winning some great cash prizes.

Draw will take place on 4th November 2021.

Another significant step in the development of our new astroturf pitch with the erecting of floodlights at Leckview Park.

It won’t be long now before the carpet is being laid down as well.

Due to a delay with the manufacture and delivery of the carpet because of Covid related issues, the target completion date for the new pitch has been put back a number of weeks.

As a result, we are extending our draw until THURSDAY, 4th NOVEMBER

It’s been a tough year with Covid presenting many challenges but great to see this finally happening!

We will be launching our annual draw in the next few days with all proceeds going towards the completion of the project and your support would be appreciated.
