Letterkenny Rovers 1 - 2 Mulroy

Letterkenny Rovers welcomed Mulroy to the Aura this evening in a tightly contested encounter. Rovers made a strong start, taking the lead early in the first half. Munachi showed excellent pace and determination down the wing, cutting the ball back perfectly for Zach McKinley, who made no mistake with a composed finish.

Clear-cut chances were few and far between as both defences held firm, limiting opportunities throughout the game. Mulroy were awarded a penalty with ten minutes to go, which their striker confidently converted to level the score.

Just as the match looked to be heading for a draw, Mulroy capitalised on a late opportunity to snatch a last-minute winner and take all three points.

Letterkenny United 1 - 1 Glen Rovers

Letterkenny United played Glen Rovers this evening at the Aura, resulting in a share of the spoils. Glen Rovers started the game best with United, finding it hard to get into their rhythm. Glen took the lead halfway through the 1st half, and that’s how the half finished. United started the 2nd half a lot better after some substitutions, and after some great wing play on the left from Jackson McLean, he was fouled inside the box, and United was awarded a penalty. Evan Price stood up to take it only to see his effort saved, but due to his quick reactions, he was able to bury the rebound. United saw off some late pressure, and the game ended 1-1. Best for Letterkenny were Evan Price and Ryley Harkin, but the man of the match goes to Jackson McLean for his excellent impact coming off the bench.

Letterkenny Crusaders 2 - 2 Keadue Rovers

Keadue Rovers started strong, scoring twice in the first five minutes and catching Letterkenny Crusaders off guard. However, Tiarnan Connolly pulled one back for Crusaders before halftime, assisted by Noah Carr, making it 2-1.

The second half was a tense affair. Crusaders pressed hard, creating several chances, with Daralee Crossan in the Crusaders goal making crucial saves to deny Keadue a third. In the 57th minute, Anthony McGarrigle equalized for Crusaders, calmly slotting the ball home. Crusaders almost snatched a late winner when Josh Muller hit the crossbar.

Ultimately, it was a hard-fought and deserved 2-2 draw.

Player of the Match: Max Bowden was outstanding at right-back, contributing defensively and offensively.

A special mention goes to Noah Wilke, who returned to action in goal after a three-month injury.

Milford Utd 0 - 2 Letterkenny Rovers

However, in the 29th minute, Pedro Evangelista broke the deadlock with a well-placed header that evaded the keeper after a precise cross from Cayden Crossan. U14 Crusaders

Letterkenny Crusaders 5-0 Ballyraine

Crusaders got back to winning ways at a blustery Aura after a poor result last week. It was Jake Bonner who started off the scoring with a fine finish after some good build up play. Franco made it 2 nil with a fine left footed strike from the edge of the box. Ballyraine were always dangerous on the counter attack and were unfortunate not to get anything in the first half. Crusaders came out strongest in the second half and linked up well for their third goal by Amini. Jake got his second of the game and Crusaders fourth after another neat finish on the turn. Lorenzo got the final goal from a fine strike at the edge of the box.

Letterkenny Rovers 3 - 4 Bonagee United

Letterkenny Rovers endured a frustrating afternoon as they let a commanding early lead slip in a dramatic 4-3 defeat to Bonagee United in the Youth League.

The game exploded into life with a dominant opening spell from Rovers, who raced into a 3-0 lead inside the first 20 minutes. Alex McDevitt opened the scoring with a powerful header, followed by a composed finish from Padraig Murphy. Jacob Leader then added a stunning third, firing a fine strike into the top corner to cap off a blistering start.

Bonagee pulled one back from the penalty spot and added a second just before the break, cutting the deficit to 3-2 at half-time.

The second half was an edgy and hard-fought battle, with Bonagee growing in confidence and pushing for an equalizer. They found their third goal, leveling the score, and the visitors eventually found the winner in the 85th minute, completing a spirited comeback.

Although disappointed Rovers will take plenty of positives from the performance moving forward.

U16 Premier

Letterkenny Rovers 1 - 2 Cappry Rovers

Letterkenny Rovers were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Cappry Rovers in a game where they largely controlled the play but were left to rue a couple of costly moments in the first half.

The visitors took the lead against the run of play midway through the opening half. A rebound from a sharp James Toner save fell kindly for Cappry, who capitalised—despite strong appeals for offside in the lead-up.

Ten minutes later, a misplaced pass high up the pitch saw Rovers caught out. Cappry launched a long ball forward, and their striker broke in behind the defence to slot home and double their advantage.

Letterkenny Rovers responded well and deservedly pulled one back before the break. A well-delivered corner from Javi—playing his final game before returning to Spain—found Fionn Campbell, who finished smartly to make it 2-1 at half-time.

The second half was one-way traffic, with Letterkenny Rovers dominating possession and pushing hard for an equaliser. Despite their efforts and several promising chances, the breakthrough never came.

A tough result for a performance full of energy and intent. The team will take encouragement from the display, and a heartfelt thank you goes to Javi for his contributions—he’ll be missed both on and off the pitch.
