U16 First Division Champions 2025
Lagan Harps Colts 0 - 3 Letterkenny Crusaders
A dominant team display saw Letterkenny Crusaders secure a convincing 3-0 victory over Lagan Harps Colts yesterday evening. The Crusaders took control early, with first-half goals from Josh McHugh and Mathew McGlinchey.
Matthew Junior added a third midway through the second half and delivered a standout performance, earning him the Man of the Match title.
This result confirms Letterkenny Crusaders as league champions.

U14 United
U14 United triumphed over Milford Blues with a commanding victory in their league match held at Cranford Park on June 27, 2025. The team showcased impressive attacking prowess, dominating the match from the start. Cormac O'Doherty set the tone by scoring two goals within the first twelve minutes, creating an early lead that the team never relinquished.
Jonathan Niju added to the scoreline with a well-executed goal following an impressive run through the defense. The second half continued in similar fashion as Thomas Muller scored from a corner delivered by Rudi Mc Brearty. Chris Kral Kopke and David Muller later capped off a brilliant team performance by each contributing to the score.


U14 Rovers
In a tightly contested match on July 5, 2025, U14 Rovers faced off against Mulroy in the league at home. After a challenging week where Rovers struggled in their previous outing against Kilmacrennan, they bounced back with a commendable team performance to secure a 2-1 victory.
Rovers started the match positively, taking an early lead just four minutes in when Lee Hegarty delivered a precise cross that was met by Cayden Crossan's fine volley. However, Mulroy responded before the half-time break, leveling the score at 1-1.

The second half saw Mulroy beginning strongly, but Rovers regained their lead through a clever flick-on from Cayden Crossan that set up Blaine O'Brien for a well-timed volley, ultimately sealing the game for the home side.
Fionn Dolan was named Player of the Match for his solid defensive performance.
U14 Crusaders
U14 Crusaders 1 - 2 Gweedore United
Crusaders faced off against Gweedore United in a closely contested league match at home. Despite dominating possession in the first half, the Crusaders struggled to create significant scoring opportunities.
The second half saw a shift in momentum as Crusaders encountered a critical defensive error allowing Gweedore to take the lead. An own goal by the Crusaders compounded their difficulties shortly after. In a spirited effort to pull back, Delroy Gonyora managed to score a remarkable goal from 30 yards. However, it was not enough to change the outcome, and the match concluded with a final score of 2-1 in favour of Gweedore United.

U16 Girls
Letterkenny Rovers 1–4 Ballyraine
Ballyraine got off to a flying start with Clodagh Patton finding the net from close range inside the opening three minutes. Letterkenny Rovers responded well, with Charley Orr narrowly missing the target as they applied early pressure. Their efforts were rewarded when a well-delivered corner from Savanna Keys was converted by Aoise Diver to bring the sides level.
Both teams struggled to maintain possession in a scrappy first half, but Ballyraine regained the lead in the 25th minute when Eimear Cassidy broke through the Rovers defence to score her first of the day.

Despite the midfield efforts of Aoise Diver and Aoiblinn McLaughlin, Letterkenny couldn’t find a way back into the game. In the second half, Ballyraine took control, with Eadaoin Kennedy adding a third before Cassidy sealed her brace and the result with a composed finish.
Best performers for Rovers were Aoise Diver and Cadha McVeigh, while Eimear Cassidy stood out as the star player for Ballyraine with a dominant display.
U16 Crusaders
Letterkenny Crusaders 3 - 2 Lurgy Celtic
Letterkenny Crusaders got off to a flying start, with Blu Jay finding the net directly from a corner within the opening 10 minutes. Lurgy Celtic responded midway through the first half with an equaliser. Just before the break, Matthew Junior restored Crusaders’ lead, making it 2-1 at halftime.
Both sides came out strong in the second half, and Lurgy Celtic managed to level the score once again. However, in the closing stages of the match, Cristian Evangelista stepped up with a sensational 30-yard strike to secure a dramatic 3-2 win for the Crusaders.

U12 United
Letterkenny Utd 1 - 1 Lagan
Letterkenny welcomed Lagan to the Aura yesterday afternoon. The game was an even affair, with both teams having chances to take all 3 points. Lagan took the lead early in the 2nd half, but this was cancelled shortly after. David Olaniyan was taken down in the box, and the resulting penalty was slotted home by Evan Price. Best for Letterkenny was Noah Harris in goal, Jackson McLean and Evan Price. Player of the match goes to Noah Harris for a stellar performance between the sticks.

Milford United 0-4 Letterkenny United
The boys made the short trip to Milford this morning for the early kickoff. Letterkenny pressed hard form the start and were rewarded on 24 minutes when Victor Ogunade put a precise cross into the box where Evan Price was there to get on the end of it to open the scoring. Victor Ogunade got on the score sheet himself 3 mins later after some great work by Jackson McLean later and another by Mikolaj Cala on 29 minutes had Letterkenny going into the 2nd half with a commanding lead.

The lads passed the ball really well all game and the final goal came in the 41st minute when Evan Price scored again from a Victor Ogunade cross. Some great performances all round today with Yehor Fedoriv, David Olaniyan and Jackson McLean standing out but man of the match goes to Isaac Joel who filled in so well at right back and was great up and down the wing. Next up is a home game next Saturday against Mulroy
U12 Athletic

Letterkenny Athletic 2 - 0 Glenree Reds

Another solid performance from Athletic at Aura against a strong Glenree side. Athletic started quickly with Shay McLaughlin going close twice in the first few minutes only to be denied by the Glenree goalkeeper. Athletic continued to press but further fines saves from the netminder kept them at bay. Glenree improved as the half went on getting in the ball more in midfield but solid defending from Athletic kept their chances to a minimum. Athletic got on top again creating numerous chances with James McLaughlin's cracking strike going just over before a fine turn and finish from Shay McLaughlin put them deservedly ahead before the break. Aaron Flanagan finished well early in the second half to double Athletic's lead and although they continued to create chances they could not find a way past the Glenree keeper who was excellent throughout. David Voronin was a rock at the back for Athletic with a standout display in midfield from James McLaughlin along side player of the match Shay McLaughlin.
U12 Girls
Letterkenny Rovers and Cappry Rovers shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw after a competitive and high-tempo match. Letterkenny dominated early and took the lead through Nino Imnadze, but Cappry equalised shortly after halftime following defensive confusion. Both teams had chances to win, with Letterkenny edging the opportunities, but neither could find a decisive goal.

U12 Crusaders
Glen Rovers 5 – 0 Letterkenny Crusaders
It was a challenging evening at the Aura for the Letterkenny Crusaders, facing a strong Glen Rovers side under difficult weather conditions.
An early setback saw the Crusaders down three goals within the opening 10 minutes created an uphill battle from the start.
Glen Rovers capitalized on some unsettled play to push ahead to a 5–0 lead by halftime.

With thoughtful tactical changes at the break, the Crusaders returned to the pitch re-energized and disciplined. Impressive attacking efforts from Tiarnan Connolly, Aoibhe Gibson, and Righan McElwaine created real goal-scoring opportunities, showing the team's determination and growth.

Debut Highlights - Folarin Abolaji delivered a standout debut performance in goal, earning Player of the Match for his composure and skill under pressure. - Aoibhe Gibson made her debut in attacking midfield (CAM), demonstrating resilience and creativity as she worked tirelessly to open up chances.
The Crusaders kept a clean sheet in the second half, a testament to their courage and team spirit.
Letterkenny Crusaders 2 - 2 Sion Swifts (friendly)
Despite challenging wet conditions, Letterkenny Crusaders continued their Foyle Cup preparations with a competitive fixture against a well-balanced Sion Swifts side.
After a lively start with chances at both ends, Sion capitalised on a miscleared corner and found the net to take the lead. They doubled their advantage soon after with a well-placed finish following a lapse in defensive coverage on the right flank.
The Crusaders responded with determination. A sharp sequence of passes opened up space for Lucas Casburn, who calmly slotted the ball past the keeper to reduce the deficit.

The equaliser came from the penalty spot after sustained pressure on a corner led to a handball—Munachi stepped up and converted with confidence.
Player of the Match: Lucas Casburn stood out on the left wing, showcasing exceptional pace, control, and composure throughout the match. Special recognition goes to Angel Abu, whose physical presence and relentless effort helped break down multiple attacks and maintain team momentum.
This fixture offered valuable experience ahead of the Foyle Cup campaign, and the team continues to build strong momentum with each outing.
U12 Rovers
Letterkenny Rovers 2 - 2 Gweedore United
A hard-fought draw was a fair reflection of this evenly matched contest played at the Aura this afternoon.
Rovers made a lightning start, going ahead in the 3rd minute when Femi Gallagher calmly slotted home after a perfectly timed through ball from Zach McKinley. The early momentum was with Rovers, who looked likely to double their lead but couldn't make their pressure count.
Gweedore responded well, drawing level on the 10th minute from a corner that deflected off a Rovers defender and into the net. That goal sparked them into life, and just five minutes later, they struck again—this time capitalising on a rapid counterattack to take a 2-1 lead.

Rovers regrouped at halftime and came out stronger in the second half. They gained more control of possession and began to ask serious questions of the Gweedore defence. Their pressure paid off when Patrick Lavin delivered a pinpoint cross that Munachi met brilliantly with a glancing header to level the scores.
Rovers pushed hard for a winner, hitting the woodwork and forcing several outstanding saves from the Gweedore goalkeeper, but in the end, both teams had to settle for a point apiece.
Best for Rovers were Alfie Gallagher and Zach McKinley, who put in excellent all-round performances.

Our two enchanted teams — the Rovers and the Crusaders — took on Cappry, Finn Valley, and Drumbar with giggles, grace, and GIRL POWER!
Highlights from the Blitz:- Rainbow-level teamwork - Wand-worthy passing - Brilliant communicating (with only a tiny buzz of Honeybee mischief — shhh, don’t tell the coaches!)
We saw magical moves, powerful friendships forming, and sportsmanship that deserves a gold star! You’re all heroes in boots!

It was also the birthday of one of our stars, Tori Kelly, who was heading straight to her party after the final whistle

Our U 9s getting prepared for the Foyle Cup vs a strong Strabane side. It was a good contest played in tough conditions for these young ballers.
