U12 Crusaders

Letterkenny United 0 - 0 Letterkenny Athletic (2 - 4 on Penalties)
It was a special night at the Aura Leisure Centre as two sides from within the club—Letterkenny United and Letterkenny Athletic—met in a thrilling semifinal. Representing Rovers, both teams delivered a fantastic spectacle of football with determination, skill, and teamwork on full display.
From the first whistle, the game provided end-to-end entertainment. Athletic impressed with their sharp passing and quick movement, applying constant pressure and showing great composure in possession. United responded with equal determination through their direct play, strength in the duels, and attacking intent down the wings.
Both teams created opportunities in an exciting contest, but strong defending and excellent goalkeeping at both ends ensured the game stayed goalless all the way to full-time.
The match was decided on penalties, where Athletic held their nerve to secure a 4-2 win and book their place in the final against Milford. This marks a fantastic achievement for Athletic in their first season at U12 football.
Player of the Match for United was Max Bowden, who worked tirelessly at right back, showing discipline and commitment throughout. For Athletic, Player of the Match was Hashim Chatha, whose outstanding goalkeeping both during the match and in the shootout proved decisive.
We wish Joe and the team the very best of luck in the final.
U14 Crusaders
Letterkenny Crusaders 3-2 Bonagee Arcade
In a thrilling encounter, the Crusaders came from two goals down with just 18 minutes left on the clock. Jake Bonner pulled one back from the penalty spot, calmly converting after a handball was spotted in the box. From there, the team pushed on with wave after wave of attacks. The equaliser followed after great work from Ade down the right wing, who played an intelligent pass inside for Amini to finish neatly.
With the game finely balanced, it was Jake again who provided the decisive moment. He latched onto a through ball and slotted home with precision to give the Crusaders the lead. The team defended resolutely in the closing minutes and saw out the result.
A brilliant fightback which sends the Crusaders through to the semi-finals, with the draw to be made soon.
