Letterkenny Rovers 4–0 Deele Harps (DWL)
Letterkenny Rovers got off to a dream start, taking the lead in just the second minute. Amy Moore latched onto an excellent ball over the top from Erin Doherty and finished confidently under pressure.
Deele Harps responded with determination and battled hard throughout the first half. However, Rovers’ decision-making in the final third limited their effectiveness at times, with several chances being taken from long range rather than properly testing the Deele goalkeeper.
Rovers doubled their advantage in the 39th minute when Aisling McGinley reacted quickest to a loose ball following a Deele goal kick, calmly finding the net.
The visitors maintained control after the break, adding two more goals in the second half. Erin Doherty got on the scoresheet, and McGinley grabbed her second of the game to seal an impressive 4–0 victory.
Overall, it was a strong and composed performance from the Rovers ladies
