DWL: Letterkenny Rovers 2–4 Keadue Rovers
Letterkenny Rovers made a strong start, taking the lead in the 6th minute when Erin Doherty calmly converted a penalty following a handball in the Keadue penalty area.
Rovers controlled possession through much of the first half and doubled their lead in the 33rd minute. Aisling McGinley delivered an excellent ball over the top of the Keadue defence, and Amy Moore met it first time with a superb volley from just outside the 18-yard box to make it 2–0.
Keadue Rovers responded after the break and mounted a comeback in the second half. Orla Ferry led the turnaround with a hat-trick, while Maria McGee added a fourth with a well-struck effort from outside the penalty area to secure a 4–2 win.
For Letterkenny Rovers, Amy Doherty and Faye Casburn put in strong performances. For Keadue Rovers, Orla Ferry delivered an outstanding display in the second half.
