π Aura Back Pitch
What a night of football under the Donegal sun! π
Lagan came out of the blocks quickly and took the lead in the 2nd minute after Rovers goalkeeper Aoife McLaughlin produced a brilliant save to her right from a shot at the edge of the box, only for the rebound to be tucked away. Rovers responded well, and striker Neno Imnadze latched onto a superb through ball from Raphaella Calvo to level things up in the 6th minute. β‘
Lagan regained the lead in the 9th minute, but Rovers dug deep and produced a superb equaliser. Neno Imnadze went on a determined run before finishing with a perfectly placed shot into the top right corner in the 19th minute. π―
Rovers edged an entertaining first half, playing free-flowing attacking football that reflected the hard work being put in during training. πͺ
The second half saw Lagan push forward with some excellent chances, but a strong Rovers defensive line and a confident goalkeeper, who made several outstanding saves, ensured the sides remained level. Both teams played open, attacking football throughout in a game that lived up to expectations.

Bonagee Athletic v Letterkenny Athletic
Letterkenny Athletic went behind in the first minute to an early Bonagee goal, with the hosts putting in a strong first-half performance. In the second half, Letterkenny Athletic really stepped it up. The introduction of Fionn Maguire made a huge impact, as he set up Ryan McLaughlin for the second goal before scoring a brilliant effort himself down the left wing. There were top performances all round, with special mentions for Ryan McLaughlin and Harry McLaughlin for their contributions throughout the game. Player of the Match goes to Fionn Maguire for a game-changing performance that swung the tie in Letterkenny’s favour.

In the U14 DWL local derby, Bonagee United and Letterkenny Rovers played out an entertaining 0–0 draw that kept spectators on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
The first half was evenly contested, with both defences standing strong and both goalkeepers in excellent form to keep the score level.
Letterkenny Rovers will feel they had the better chances to take all three points. Aoibhe Gibson came close with an effort that drifted just wide of the post, while Lana Culi was unlucky to see her strike come back off the woodwork. Cadhla McVeigh also had a great opportunity at the back post, only to see her effort cleared off the line by a Bonagee defender.
