Killea/Raphoe 0 - 3 Letterkenny Rovers

Friday 26th May 2023

Our Youths made the sunny trip to Killea/Raphoe this evening for their latest League fixture and came away with a 3-0 win.

A bright start with some good spells of possession was rewarded when Robbie Murphy struck a fantastic effort into the roof of the net from just inside the box after 7 mins.

Rovers continued to probe with some good attacking play out wide and added a second after 25mins when a brilliant Sam Harvey cross ended with Murphy getting his second.
Killea/Raphoe started the second half on the front foot and were getting on top in midfield until Rovers gradually composed themselves and came back into it. Murphy got his hat-trick on 70mins and Rovers had a couple of more chances near the end when the best of those fell to Dan Coyle. The Killea/Raphoe keeper had a super game for them whilst Murphy with his 3 goals, Faolan Gibson, Rudi Minnock and Jack Long had impressive displays for Rovers.
