Rovers progress to Semi final of Women's Inter League Cup

Letterkenny Rovers advance to the Semi Final of the Interleague Cup Competition.

Rovers Ladies travelled to Cockhill Celtic yesterday evening, delighted to be playing a new team and embracing the challenge of a new competition.

Ciara McGarvey put Rovers ahead from the penalty spot on 15mins, shortly after Sarah Robinson extended the lead, with Danielle Hynd and Ciara McGarvey making it 4-0 at half time.

Tammi Carr for Cockhill pulled one back at the beginning of the second half, with Ciara McGarvey wrapping up the scoring for Rovers with 8mins remaining.

The Ladies now play with Raphoe or Greencastle, who play on the 6 May, in the Semi final
